Terminal Autonomy believes access to effective defense strategies should not depend on your GPS coordinates. We are at the forefront of rebooting the arsenal of democracy. Today we are one of the largest defense manufacturers in the world by far and have delivered Scalpel attack drones to Ukraine since 2022.

We are looking for engineers who can help us build a system that 700+ million people will depend on with their lives. As a member of the Engineering team, you will be part of a team of 7-10 EE individual contributors and continue to develop a passionate, high-commitment, high-initiative culture. You will be respected for your technical skill, a hands-on bias for action, and discipline to drive into production.

Ideally, You Have Prior Experience In The Following

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience instead of a degree)
  • Experience partnering with a multidisciplinary engineering team, including mechanical, electronic, propulsion, and software disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and an appetite for innovation
  • Deploying hardware to the field, owning the full hardware product development, concept through production
  • Acting as a trusted technical expert in design, manufacturing, or analysis
  • Synthesizing elegant solutions from disparate industries like aerospace, or industrial robotics

The role includes:

  • Working independently to solve complex problems, mitigate risks, and contribute to an inclusive, productive team environment
  • Performing all airframe, power plant, and propeller repairs and modification requirements that suitably align with CASA and company standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting
  • Operating all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments when building products
  • Accurately completing all required maintenance records
  • Traveling on occasion
  • Performing other duties that may be required
